Marlene is our Nursery Ministries Director and has been involved in Children's Ministries at Highlands Community Church since 1986. She came on the ministry staff team in 1991. Marlene has served in a variety of roles within Children’s Ministries while on staff, most recently part time as the Director of Nursery Ministries, which includes infants through toddlers.

Marlene has the gift of serving and enjoys using her gift to minister to the young babies and their parents. Marlene has a heart for coming alongside new moms and dads to offer encouragement as they bond and care for their little ones. She and her husband, Norm, have five daughters and have been blessed with six granddaughters and four grandsons. Marlene loves baseball and enjoys attending the Seattle Mariners games at every opportunity.
