Jim Amandus
Senior Pastor of Highlands Community Church.
Pastor Jim serves as the Senior Pastor overseeing the ministries and pastoral staff of Highlands Community Church. Jim came to HCC in 1989. Jim’s passion is prayer, teaching, and discipling men to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. His commitment to our community is expressed as this year’s president of Renton Rotary. Jim teaches pastors and missionaries in the US and internationally. Jim earned his TH.M from Dallas Theological Seminary and his doctorate from Fuller Seminary. Jim loves serving the Lord with his wife Lauri. The Lord has blessed them with four children and five grandchildren. Jim loves running, hiking, scuba diving, skiing, and an early morning grande mocha at Starbucks.
